As another poster just commented, Karim and I have been pretty bogged 
down of late (I just got back from a conference, myself, hence the delay 
in responding) -- still, that need not prevent general discussion on the 
list.  We always read, even if we don't have much time to write.

As a side note, Karim has been working on a new reality guide, and has 
some preliminary bits available (as I understand it -- feel free to 
correct me, Karim).  He can say more about it, but I'm sure that he'd 
welcome input (and playtesting)....
